Research on Traditional Games and Sports
During this event, young people (6-15 y.o.) will interact with seniors, interviewing them on the traditional sports and games they were using to practice and how those games reflected the deep social roots of behaving.
Local Experimentation of the Collected Ancient games
The young people, together with the seniors and the local actors will experiment the traditional sports and games collected in the prior events during the European Week of Sport. This event will be realized with the support of the associated partners. Moreover, during the Sport Week, when the local intergenerational sport activities will be implemented, a “Green Sport Awareness Campaign” will be launched, so as to sensitize on the importance of reducing waste and consumption, while the sport and games equipment used will be produced with recycled materials.
Dissemination Event
In each partner organization a dissemination seminar will be organized with the support of the associated partners, in order to share the project results with the potential stakeholders and users.
