#Geoclube did the honors of this last Long LTTA, started on the 30th of May 2022, and led a workshop at the Águas Santas Secondary School, that focused on #ecological_citizenship.
The partners started by finding out some of the students' green habits, mainly through the #Footprint_Calculator 🖩, an online tool that allows users to understand what is the environmental impact of each one of us on the environment. Next, through the #Corner_Game", a discussion started among the young adults about the major environmental issues facing the community and who is causing them or who might be able to solve them. The workshop ended with the presentation of a series of statistics about the environment and practical sustainability tips.
The FACIT members hope that motivated the students to have a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and to be more aware of their responsibilities on Planet.
